You might have found this page from Instagram — here's a bit more about me.

Hi, I'm Fiona.

BestBitYet exists because I believe midlife — and everything beyond it — can genuinely be the best bit yet. This can be an unsettling, even frightening time, but you have more agency in it than it feels like right now: agency to craft a life that actually works for you, one that can carry you well into the second half of your life. I'm pulling together everything I've learned, alongside ongoing research into how women navigate this stage well, into a single place: the exercises, the frameworks, and eventually the community, to help you believe that and act on it.

Background

I spent my career in senior international marketing roles at Microsoft, Amazon and Apple, most recently as Head of International Marketing for Apple Services. I now run a portfolio career of advisory, fractional and board work alongside coaching.

Rebuilding my life after divorce, and a near-burnout moment in my forties, is what pushed me to re-evaluate how I was working and living. But leaving corporate itself came down to something quieter than a crisis: I enjoyed my job, but it only lit up one small part of who I am, and yet it required the vast majority of my time — and that imbalance no longer worked for me. I'd run so many launches across so many markets that I could see the patterns before they played out. I could still add value, but I no longer felt as excited to devote all of my energy to fixing the same problems again. Ever since, I've been focused on living in better alignment with my own values — and helping other women do the same, at whatever stage they're navigating it.

I hold a PhD in Communication Sciences, am an IAPC&M-accredited Coach Practitioner, and completed the Oxford AI Programme at Saïd Business School. I'm also a qualified Yoga teacher (200 hours) and trained in a range of other holistic practices — because real change rarely happens in the mind alone. I donate 5% of every advisory session fee to Smart Works, the charity supporting women into employment.

I'm divorced with two teenage daughters, and live on the London/Surrey borders.

Why BestBitYet

Every exercise in The Reset Guide, every question in the masterclass, comes from the same place: real clarity beats a five-year plan. I'm not interested in telling you to quit your job. I'm interested in making sure that whatever you decide, you're deciding it with your eyes open — on the numbers, your values, your energy, and what you're actually good at.
